Heart rebels against
The embrace of questions,
Annoyingly devoid of answers,
That like wild weeds
Eat away familiar peace.
Haunting melodies
Of an old lyrical song,
The souvenirs of
Sunset dreams,
Come back again
Like pigeons.
No matter how hard I toss it,
Using all my strength,
Waves keep dragging it back.
It keeps coming back,
To hunt me down,
To shatter my ease
And demand quest for answers.
Resolved against
Voyage on no-moon waves,
With mast of fallow hope,
I tightly shut
Evanescent smiles,
Aching tears,
Nebulous thoughts,
And wingless feelings,
In inadequate
Urns of words,
Before they decay
And reek of death,
And offer it to sea of dead.
Walk away from it, I must
Before everything is lost,
For fond embraces of answers,
Would always be missing.
